SEED OF CHUCKY

Seed of Chucky movie begins with Glen, the apparent "son" of Chucky and Tiffany; born at the expense of his estranged mother Tiffany dying immediately after he was born (shown right at the end of the "Bride Of Chucky" movie) and living a life of embarrassment and abuse as a ventriloquist's dummy. That’s a long time to be married for and just throw that all away after all those years that’s crazy because what’s the point in getting married and all you’re going to do is get a divorce. Center Fielder Matt Kemp and second baseman Orlando Hudson received National League Gold Glove Awards in a defensively historic day for the Dodgers. It marked the first year since 1975 that the Dodgers have had two Gold Glove winners that played the entire season with the club. Excluding Finley, this also is the first time a Dodgers Center Fielder won the award since Willie Davis in 1973 and Kemp is the first Dodgers Gold Glove outfielder since Raul Mondesi in 1997.

Kemp, 25, was the primary center fielder for the first time in his career and ranked third in the Major Leagues with 14 outfield assists while committing only two errors. He is also in the running for a Silver Slugger Award. He quoted saying."People said I needed to work on my defense, so I was coming out early and working on it and showed I what I could do."  "It means a lot to me."I take as much pride in my defense as my offensive game. If you can save a run and help your team win a game, it's just as big as hitting a home run or a game-winning hit." Oprah Being Acused Of Having Sex On A Plane

According to TMZ.com Oprah Winfrey’s company is being sued by a former flight attendant. The Chicago Tribune reported that Corrine Gehrls, who worked on Winfrey’s private jet, was fired after claims were made that she had sex on the plane. The lawsuit alleged that fellow flight attendant Myron Gooch and Winfrey’s goddaughter Kirby Bumpus made the false accusations so that Gehrls would be sacked. Gehrls and pilot Terry Pansing were fired shortly afterwards for “inappropriate intimate behavior.
                                                                                                                                                                    The suit claims the lawsuit also alleges that Gooch made the accusations after Gehrls and Pansing complained that he refused to work as scheduled, asked for his hours to be changed so he could “attend to his cats”, and insisted on staying in better hotels than the rest of the crew. Gehrls and Pansing passed polygraph tests after being fired, but were not reinstated. The lawsuit seeks more than $75,000 in damages from Gooch, Bumpus and Winfrey’s production company Harpo Inc.

Cash Money/Young Money CEO and Rapper Lil Wayne is Facing Up To A 15 Year Sentence

Rapper Lil Wayne is going to jail as part of a plea deal to avoid a longer term behind bars on gun charges. According to reports, Lil Wayne will plead guilty for his possession of a .40 caliber gun found on his bus in 2007. Lil Wayne was expected to protest his innocence, But an announcemnet by authorities that they were to confirm Lil wayne's DNA was found on the gun making the chances of a conviction far more likley,bought about change.

Under the deal, Lil Wayne will reportedly plead guilty for possession in exchange for an 8-month term in jail. If 8 months sounds harsh, Lil Wayne could have faced 15 years behind bars for each count of criminal weapons posseession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.It's believed that authorities will drop the other charges in return for the guilty plea on the lesser charge. Lil Wayne joins a long list of rappers who have faced or spent time in jail.

Marshall Gang Fight Occurence

Tuesday morning at Marshall High school several students was arrested after a fight broke out around 10:00a.m that morning on the second floor. Marshall Students that saw the fight said that” the fight was gang related and that it started last Friday,when an unknown male student was jumped on by three or four other Marshall High school students.

Other sources say a male student who was escorted by a parent brought a gun into the school and students were forced to be dismissed by floor while all After School Programs were cancelled due to the dangerous and safety environment that students were in. Some students feel like  Marshall should be shut down because of the ongoing reputation of gang related violence surrounding the neighborhood area and school. Sophomore Whitney Collins, said "The school should be shut down because its dangerous," others feel the same. While the Board of Education and Security meet with the administration this past wednesday, students and parents fear that this incident will be an ongoing issue throughout the school year.

Presenting John Marshall Metropolitan HS Multimedia Publishing Program

John Marshall Metro high school's Multimedia Publishing program is an apprenticeship program that is facilitated by After School Matters. This program introduces students to the world of publishing through a variety of creative outlets. The Multimedia Publishing program will be producing a radio show that will be available through podcast. This blog is to introduce and follow the all new 32.5 CVOM Radio show, representing the Creative Voices Of Marshall. The radio show will cover the latest news and gossip, hot topics, fashion, music, movies, sports, and more. Discussions will be introduced about current events in and around our school and community, which will allow students, faculty, parents, and community members a chance to respond and discuss topics presented.
